Alteam is headquartered in the UK and operates across Europe and the US. In Europe, we work through our subsidiary Alteam France, giving us coverage and legal presence in key markets.

We follow a 7-step hiring process, which includes reviewing CVs and experience, conducting structured interviews, performing reference checks, verifying ID, and—where relevant—running background checks. This ensures only high-quality experts join our network.

Not yet. Currently, we do not pre-run coding or technical tests. Instead, we facilitate client-led technical evaluations during second-round interviews. This lets you test candidates against your specific stack and standards.

⚡️ Coming soon: we plan to integrate third-party technical assessment tools to pre-vet engineers even further.

Our AI model has been fine-tuned on historical project data and benchmark rates. When you submit a project brief, it auto-generates:

• Relevant service packages (with deliverables & timelines)
• Cost forecasts based on industry, complexity, and budget
• Team recommendations tailored to your needs

You always see two tabs: Talent, Services.

Your data is safe. We only fine-tune our AI on anonymised datasets, stripping out any sensitive information. All data use is covered in our Privacy Policy, which meets GDPR and international compliance standards.

If a contractor or permanent employee leaves before the end of their trial period or notice period, Alteam provides a replacement at no extra charge. We stand behind our placements.

• Freelance marketplaces (e.g., Upwork, Fiverr) charge a 10–20% commission on every invoice.
• Recruitment agencies charge 10–25% of the first-year salary upfront.
• Alteam is different:
  • Services: fixed packages with no % fee.
  • Ongoing retainers: add a flat £1,499 management fee.
  • Platform hires: pay only for shortlisted interviews (£1,250 each, capped).
    This makes Alteam more predictable and cost-efficient.

You can use our Service model:

• One-off package: fixed scope and price, 0% Alteam fee.
• Ideal for MVPs, prototypes, and well-defined deliverables.

For these types of projects, we typically issue an SLA agreement.

For ongoing work, choose a Retainer (3–12 months). You’ll get a dedicated team or expert(s) at a fixed monthly price, plus a £1,499 management fee for fractional CPO/PM oversight. Best for scaling roadmaps or managing multiple projects. For these types of projects, we typically issue an SOW agreement, and the agency (supplier) of the work will sign a Partnerships agreement between Alteam and the Client.

We offer three tiers:

• Starter (Free): shortlist up to 5 talent/role, £1,250 per final-round interview, capped at £10k.
• Advanced (£199/month): all features, 10 shortlist/role, £1,250 per final-round interview, capped at £10k.
• Enterprise (Custom): Unlimited shortlists, features, and white labelling.

This way, you only pay for real progress toward a hire, not endless CVs.

We aim for speed:

• First shortlist or package → within 48 hours.
• For well-defined briefs, you can begin interviewing within a week.
• For larger or niche roles, timelines may be slightly extended, but always with proactive updates.

We work with startups, scaleups, corporates, and venture builders.
